Privacy policy

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — your name, email address, phone number, and message when you ask about a home, request a tour, ask what your home is worth, submit a review, or contact us. A home-value request also includes the address and details of the property you describe.
• Your account — your email address and a password we store only as a salted hash, plus the homes you save, the searches you save, the listings you hide, any notes you add to saved homes, and messages between you and your agent.
• Listing views — a random first-party identifier cookie lets us count how many listing pages a visitor has opened and show a “views this week” figure on popular homes. It is not linked to your name unless you create an account.
• Server logs — the IP address, page requested, and time of each request, kept briefly to keep the site running, to apply rate limits, and to detect automated scraping of listing data as our MLS licence requires.

We do not run third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or social media trackers on this site.

How we use it

• To respond to you. A request about a home goes to a licensed Lasbury Tracy agent, who will contact you by the phone or email you gave.
• To send the email alerts you asked for when a new listing matches a saved search. Every alert carries an unsubscribe link.
• To keep your saved homes, searches, and conversations available when you sign in.
• To keep records of enquiries and transactions in our own office systems, which we are required to retain under Florida real estate law.

Who sees it

Our agents and office staff, and the service providers that run the site for us: the company that hosts our web server, the email service that delivers alerts and notifications, and the storage service that serves listing photographs. Providers act only on our instructions. If we forward enquiries to a customer-relationship system so an agent can follow up, that system holds only the details you submitted. We disclose information when the law requires it.

Third-party content you choose to open

Map tiles and aerial imagery are loaded from a map provider when a map is shown, and a virtual tour or video opens on the provider the seller chose. Those services receive your IP address in the ordinary course of serving the content. Nothing about the listing you are viewing, and nothing you have typed, is sent to them by us.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any saved-search alert using the link in the email, or delete the saved search from your account.
• Ask us to correct or delete your account and the information in it by emailing [email protected]. We will do so unless we are required to keep a record.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser. The site still works; you will need to sign in again.

Retention and security

Account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Enquiry and transaction records are kept as long as Florida law requires. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on systems only our office can reach; passwords are never stored in readable form.

Children

This site is for adults looking for real estate. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
